Water Transportation in the Wissahickon

GPS Estimate on Forbidden Drive: 40.0470, -75.21.25

Before everything went underground, the water was transported above ground. The pipes would freeze and it just wasn't a good idea. This system was eventually replaced with the water being transported below the ground.
